Playing catch-up with Project 365...

I haven't posted my P-365 shots in a couple of weeks, so I figured I'd better do it before I get too far behind! Here are the past few weeks:

March 5: Monday night, Heroes, Mexican fiesta. 'Nuff said.

March 6: I had lunch with my friend Chris at Jason's Deli. It was the first time we've gotten to hang out in a while.

March 7: I had to get two shots in my hand for tendinitis. Yuck! The first one made my hand swell up. The second one was cortisone, and it has made my hand feel better.

March 8: Keke and I ate dinner at Los Tarascos and then harassed Ashley at the Bean.

March 9: Two nights in a row at Los. Ashley wanted to grab some margaritas, so we did.

March 10: A really pretty sunset from the parking lot of Target.

March 11: Yeah, I forgot to take a photo this day. But I had a late-night craving for french fries and ice cream, so I made that my POTD.

March 12: I just saw this on my way into the office and thought it made an interesting picture.

March 13: Delicious, yummy goodness.

March 14: The electric company cut down the old oak tree in my parents' front yard! Boo!

March 15: Day one of my vacation at the beach. Bad weather, but there were lots of surfers!

March 16: Day two in FWB, and the weather was MUCH nicer!

March 17: Yep, the drive home. I spent a lot of time driving this day.

March 18: I went out to the Riverwalk in Northport and took a whole ton of pictures. I like the reflections in this one.

March 19: More Monday night yumminess. Zucchini pasta.

March 20: Dogwood blossoms at the arboretum.

March 21: Worship practice.

March 22: Dirty softball feet!
OK, first, some people might be wondering about my Facebook away message about cortisone, so I want to clear that up. I have not injured myself, and I'm not so old that my body is falling apart from one afternoon of playing softball. I play guitar and have been playing a whole lot lately because I'm helping with worship at Vineyard on Sunday mornings and at Platform on Tuesday nights. A few weeks ago, I started having sharp pains in my left hand while I was playing; it eventually got so bad that my hand and wrist were hurting pretty much all the time. I went to the doctor about it and ended up getting referred to a specialist who decided that I had tendinitis and that I needed to get two shots in my left hand. I was not a happy camper. And it hurt. But I'm getting past the soreness from the shots now, and hopefully my hand will be completely better once that happens.

In other news, Spring Break is here, and that makes me happy. I don't really have any set-in-stone plans except that I know I will spend part of the break working. I might go down to the beach for a couple of days. I might just lay around and be a complete bum. I need to get some homework done, too, so hopefully that will happen.

I'm really happy about my decision to take a break from school in August. I told my GRA supervisor the other day that I won't be returning in the fall, so it's pretty much official now. I might sign up for the social dance class just for the heck of it (and so I can still order football tickets). I don't know yet. It's kind of exciting and kind of scary not knowing what I'll be doing as of September. I'm not too worried about it, because I've got some money stored away and I know God'll take care of me. But it's going to be so weird looking for a real, adult job, and I'm not really sure what I want to do. It'll be a nice change, though.

Not too much else going on. Ashley and I went out for margaritas last night. We're going to do something tonight, too.

The end.
Time for some more Project 365 photos!

Alright, in an effort to not get too far behind in sharing these, here are my latest Project 365 shots:

February 21: Keke got a little bored on the first day of Lent and decided to try to climb the tree in our front yard. So I took pictures and made a collage.

February 22: This was during the black plague. I wanted to demonstrate the fact that I was on lots and lots of drugs.

February 23: We went over to Chris M's to play Wii and the boys took over while we sat around and watched. We got a little bored.
February 24: So pretty! I was on campus taking pictures of Bidgood for work and noticed this little spot, so I took a picture.
February 25: We had another Wii night at Benji's and Ashley's. We played some Wario game that was a lot of fun, but only one player could play at a time. So we entertained ourselves while Benji was playing.

February 26: It was such a pretty day. I thought this made a pretty cool shot. This is a tree in our front yard.

February 27: I saw these flowers at Target and had to have them. So I bought them and brought them home and stuck them in a vase.

February 28: We had a worship team fellowship dinner at the church. Yummy Olive Garden!

March 1 (No. 1): The day of all the tornadoes. UA decided not to cancel classes until 2:30, and the tornado sirens started going off around 2:50. Yeah, mass chaos on campus.

March 1 (No. 2): The dark tornado skies!

March 1 (No. 3): After the crazy tornado weather, we decided to play in the rain!

March 2: We had roommate night and made lots and lots of dips to eat with chips! And I learned how to use the self-timer on my camera...

March 3: We went bowling for Rob's birthday.

March 4: My Bear!
